Johnnie, a 10 year old female Bull Mastiff and American Staffordshire terrier mix has been a beloved member of our family since she was a nine week old puppy. Last July 2008, our vet shared with me that Johnnie had bone cancer and only had a few months to live. He even suggested that if she were to continue to suffer we should consider putting her down. That was NEVER an option for our family! She had stopped using her leg except to balance herself when she pottied (and even that looked miserable for her). She lost about 23 pounds and her leg looked completely atrophied. It was just skin on bone with no visible muscle mass at all. My family and I felt helpless and we were basically just trying to keep her happy until she died. On August 11th I left her with the care of the veterinary clinic and flew out to California to visit a physicist whom I learned was manufacturing a Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy device. Through my independent research to find alternative care for Johnnie I discovered that PEMF therapy had been used on equines for the past 20 years and that there was clinical research on PEMF therapy for treatment of cancer on humans so I was determined to see if this would help my loyal and beloved family companion. When I returned from my trip five days later I was eager to get started on treating Johnnie with the PEMF therapy machine. I began by placing one of the several attachments provided over her leg for three minutes while my wife struggled to

AFN National Chief Phil Fontaine makes a passionate address about the desperate situation of First Nations communities to the Canadian Club of Ottawa, May 15, 2007. Fontaine talks about the Conservative government reneging on the Kelowna Accord; 1100 outstanding land claims, and the attempts First Nations people have made to work with the Canadian government to resolve land claims and other issues. “How can we make this right for Canada? What can we do together to create the kind of country that we all deserve to live in?… Our people will simply no longer be put off… or dismissed as second-class citizens or an afterthought…. Canadians, we know, want these issues resolved fairly and justly.” “What did we do? What wrong did we do to Canadians? What harm did we inflict on people? What do they expect from us?… We’ve tried every approach, we’ve tried to do better, not just for First Nations people but for all Canadians.” (Part 3 of 4.) NHGRI researcher Dr. Elaine A. Ostrander focuses on the “powerful tool” of comparative genomics – comparisons of genes with organisms. Dr. Ostrander discussess comparing the portions of genes from different species – such as the chicken, wallabee and pufferfish – that have common functions, and how the divergence of these genes is shedding light on evolution of the human genome. Dr. Ostrander’s research focuses on genetic variation between seven major groups of the domestic dog. Sequencing dog genomes and comparing them to the human genome allows researchers to learn about what genes or portions of genes are conserved across species. Not a game, not a, not, not the game that I go out there and die for… [Verse 1] Yo I heard those who can’t, teach, well fuck it I guess class dismissed, I can’t teach you shit I’ve been doin this for years, man, my rep is legit It’s like a mic is a cancer-stick, I can’t quit But I can kick that measuring stick to Let you know real quick whether you can or can’t spit And from the sound of it, you on a stage Is like a square in a triangle hole: it don’t fit I mean, the whole way you tryin to hold the mic I ain’t tryin to be a smart aleck, but you sound like a dick It shouldn’t be so phallic, you wanna be hard But you can’t come correct, I would’ve show you how it’s done If you showed some respect, instead what you doin is Showin you’re new in this; why you pursuin this Skill trade and tryin to get paid and laid? Before the groupies and the guap, man, the fact is It takes practice [Iverson sample variations] [Verse 2] I heard it’s better to be lucky than good Well, in my case I guess I’m lucky I’m good I heard if not for bad luck, J would have no luck at all To which my reply is, “Fuck all of y’all” I’ve been passed up, gassed up, bounced around, man Thrown off the glass just to see what sticks I have yet to score

Update: 31 January 2010 Vet administered sedation to help her sleep through the IV tube she had in her arm while another vet was cradling her like a little baby. She was snoring real quick. It was funny and made me laugh a little in the midst of streaming tears. They continue with a pinkish lethal liquid which makes her slip away. You can see the life in her eyes becomes motionless, pupils dilated and the body became lifeless almost instantaneously. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on 31 January at 2pm. Im glad finally she will have no more pain and suffering. It was my last respect and tribute to be there for her to see her go. I am emotionally and mentally ready to let go. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ET is sick due to open Pyometra infections in December 2009. A bacteria infection in the womb while she was on heat. She is 8 years old. Old dogs need to be spayed to avoid hormonal complications in later life which I never know. Male dogs will develop prostate cancer while female ones will develop breast cancer and uterus infections (Pyometra). If your dog is not getting better it is getting worse. She was treated with antibiotics without surgery due to her very weak physical condition which may not enable her to pull through otherwise. Finding a good vet with experience and affordable is very time consuming, and proof devastating if you are not getting anywhere especially if you don’t know where to start. There are many vets out there but not all are able to treat your dog

just a old video that i found in the dusty corner of my files :D D [lol i made this in like january :] i saved it untill summer :D D XD sorry i sound really sick!!!
