Q&A: A dog of my friend has cancer, what do you do if dies? How do you take care of this? Who do you bring it to?Posted by: Alan in dog cancer, tags: bring, cancer, Care, dies, Friend, take, thisQuestion by Someone: A dog of my friend has cancer, what do you do if dies? How do you take care of this? Who do you bring it to? Thanks! Best answer: Answer by LX V If the dog dies at home you can bury it yourself or you can call someone to pick him up for cremation. Your vet can tell you who they use for that service. Sorry for your friend’s loss. It’s hard I know Add your own answer in the comments!

Our Buddy Dingo – Memorial VideoPosted by: Alan in dog cancer, tags: Buddy, Dingo, Memorial, Video
This footage was taken the day Dingo was officially diagnosed with canine lymphoma. After taking him home to share the news he was honored with being allowed to play with the ‘coveted oven mitt’. A stuffed squirrel also was gifted to him as well as a trip to his favorite park to run and explore freely. We wanted to maximize the day and watch him embrace life even though he had just been given such bad news. Dingo was such a strong willed dog, an amazing companion and friend to all.
Max (Keegans Surprise) is owned by Julie Day. He enters Companion Shows, fundraises, and has been on stage in Panto. He likes walks, holidays, steam trains & cuddles. He dislikes Fireworks,Goal Keepers on TV and coming home from holidays with Mummy Daddy and his Sister. He raised £168 in 1 ½ hours for the RSPCA. Appeared on stage in the local Panto as Toto and loved it. Came 3rd in the Woof factor. All of this despite being on Chemotherapy for 13 months. Does he look like a dog that had a rectal tumour removed and has Lymphoma ? A fine example of a happy much loved dog.

Supplements for Canine Cancer?Posted by: Alan in dog cancer, tags: cancer, canine, SupplementsQuestion by cal74sb: Supplements for Canine Cancer? Please, if someone could give me some pointers about how to proceed with supplements. I heard that antioxidants are great, but what kind? I also switched to high protein diet, which he loves I’m beside myself with grief and I’m afraid I will run out of time to help him. I just want him to stick around a little longer. He is NOT in pain, he’s just tired. I made sure with the vet that he is not suffering. Thank you for any advice from people who’ve dealt with this. PS: if you have links to reliable websites, that would be great too. What about that K9 Immunity stuff? Anyone ever used it? I can’t find any studies or reviews on it … thank you. I have not consulted with an oncologist, because I thought I only would do that if I wanted treatment for him. I’m new to this. You all have given so much help. Thanks. I think I will go for th eK9 Immunity with a variety of supplements once I get approval of all those from my vet today. Thank you all so much. Best answer: Answer by Jessie I used to sit a dog with cancer. The owner was a microbiologist and she used the whole system from K9 Immunity. I don’t know if it actually helped or not, but it didn’t hurt. Best of luck to you and your dog. Give your answer to this question below! |
