My friends at Sylvania Vet hosted and sponsored the American Cancer Society’s “Bark for Life” for a second year. The event featured a dog walk, games, prizes, raffles, demonstrations and the Wiener Dog Nationals. All proceeds were donated to the American Cancer Society of NW Ohio. This is my first interpretation for a song and I wanted to share it. Please understand this is how I interpret it; this isn’t the only way. My sister told me I needed to check out this Reba song and I fell in love with it!! My mother lost her sister to breast cancer a few years ago, so I wanted to sign this song in dedication to her I love you Mama!! I tried signing as close to ASL while mouthing some english words so both hearing and deaf people could understand. I hope I found a middle ground. Felicia has had bone cancer twice. The second time doctors decided to amputate her right leg to save her life. She has now been in remission for 2 1/2 years.
