This American woman just got five puppies that were cloned from her beloved late pit bull. A South Korean biotech firm claims this is the world’s first commercial dog cloning service.NATS UP Bernann McKinney received the dogs Tuesday, about five months after she requested that the company recreate her dead pet. McKinney’s dog died of cancer two years ago. And she wanted a clone because she was especially attached to the dog. McKinney said the dog saved her life when she was attacked by another dog three times his size. Following the incident, her left hand was amputated and her leg nerves and stomach were injured. Doctors later reconstructed her hand and she spent part of her recovery in a wheelchair. She said during that time her canine was more than just a companion. McKinney says the dog pulled her wheelchair when its battery ran out and helped her open the house door with his teeth even though the dog was never trained to do so. For Jonah; Jonah passed away yesterday, September 11th. I’ve only known Jonah for about a year, but still he meant so much. When you meet a person like him, you can’t just pass them by and think nothing of them. This is RIley our almost 7 yo beloved golden retriever. He has been a family member since coming home as a little puppy and is the smartest, funniest, most energetic and loving animals we have ever owned. This is a “fatty” benign tumor mass that was surgically removed almost 2 years ago and has since rapidly grown back MANY MANY TIMES the size of what it was originally. It was the size of a softball when we had it removed, now in comparison, almost a watermelon. This mass is spreading rapidly, taking over his entire chest and has recently began growth into his two front fore paw areas. We have taken him to 3 different vets all of which say the same thing, “We can de-bulk it and risk it growing back as it has done and or loose him on the operating table due to the proximity of the arteries possibly hitting one…” I have done hollistic healing, given him monavie juice, various mushroom based supplements with no noticeable results. There MUST be something somebody can do! We love this dog and just lost Riley’s “Wife” Belle, our other very loved golden as well. He is taken care of very well, pampered, always an in-door lap dog and has a great diet. Why can’t he take a chemo pill or something??
