Pets with chronic allergies will often have other symptoms indicating a weakened immune system. Cats and dogs have allergies but they can be affected differently Cats: –gastrointestinal symptoms (eg diarrhea, vomiting, hairballs), respiratory concerns (asthma), less common– hair and coat issues Dogs:—skin and coat issues, scratching and itching, gastrointestinal issues Allergies are cumulative—they build up over time and with continued exposure (could show a balloon filling up about to burst) Most pets have both environmental and food allergies. Susquehanna service dog Freedom demonstrating a few of the tasks that he can do. Freedom passed away from cancer in January of 2008. I have received a new service dog in June of 2009. Jonagold is a black lab and will never replace Freedom but is a wonderful successor and I love and care for him just the same.

This is a timelapse of my sisters dog Lucke (pronounced lucky). It goes from 9:00 am to 7:00pm. She came home at 5:30, otherwise he would probably still be sleeping, the lazy lug. Since this video was made, Lucke passed away due to cancer, but for those who think he had a boring life, he got walked twice a day, every day. He had a doggy door that he could use whenever he wanted to go out into a big backyard. When people were home, he got more luvin’ then any dog I know. The point of the video wasn’t to see how he lived his everyday life. The point was to see what he would do when left to his own devices.

Question by Dutch: New aggression issue with my Greyhound dogs. Any advice?
I have two adopted ex-racer Greyhounds. These two, I adopted together about 8 months ago after my first beloved Grey died of osteosarcoma. They are both male. My fawn male injured his foot and needed a couple of stitches just a few days ago. Ever since this happened my other black/white male has been aggressive to him. The black/white male has always been more dominant, but now he barks and growls at my fawn alot. It is generally over a toy or a treat but he has growled at him over just walking by. They are both VERY sweet dogs and very, very loving. Does anyone have any ideas? I know alot of factors can cause this, but I just gave a brief description. Thanks in advance.

Not sure but maybe the dominant male senses vulnerability in your injured dog and is reasserting his dominance.. Perhaps speak to your vet, watch them carefully, see if it improves as your injured dog heals.. Good luck
