We’re now a full 9 weeks into recovery from amputation. As you can see from this videoclip, Abby has regained quite a significant amount of agility, and the hair around her incision has all grown back. While hard to show in an enclosed backyard video, she has also regained most of the speed she had before amputation. When she chooses to, she can tear off at breakneck speed after something. Abby continues to be happy, alert, vibrant, and well…just Abby. When we watch her now, it’s hard to imagine that she had four legs to begin with. She’s still capable of doing nearly everything she was able to before the surgery. While her stamina may not be quite the same, she, and we are very much able to look past that given she’s still able to be with us and spend time with us. As always, feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Video Rating: 0 / 5
The 4 legged friends I have met during my travels through Western WI have uplifted my spirit at a time I needed it. The past 3 years my job has taken me through the fields and forests of WI. It also takes me into a lot of canine populated farm yards. Their greetings have made the days something to look forward to. “Frank’s Friends” have been a wonderful therapy. Enjoy. THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIENDS!!! Video Rating: 5 / 5
